This is my friend's car. He's got a JDM SR20DE swap. He had it working and it was driving fine, no problems at all. His motor mount broke and it snapped the CV joint on the passenger side, so he parked it for a few months until he could fix it. He finally got it fixed but when he went to start it, it just cranked, sputtered, tries to start and then dies.]

So far we've checked to see if it has fuel, it does. Did a compression test and it was spot on 180 on all 4 cylinders. Tested for spark, which it has... We've done everything we can think of. One thing I mentioned not too long ago was that he has the MAF just sitting in the engine bay instead of being hooked up to the intake. Would that cause it to not start?
