Icon6 relocating the battery.

i wanted to make room in my engine bay, so imma relocate the battery to the trunk of my car, i just wanted to know what gauge of cable should i use? and where should i run the wire threw the inside of the car? or under the car (outside)?

One thing I do know is that if you're using a non-drycell battery, you're gonna want the battery to have proper ventilation as they give off hazardous fumes.

not really, thanx tho,

i take it a drycell battery wouldnt have water in it?

did you read the whole thread?

no lead, or fluid, I guess. A good typical one is Odyssey PC680 which goes for about $150.

read it faded, might help more then a buzz. but nah, those guys should have answer your question somewhere in there. And you can probably get some ideas too.

The smallest I'd run is 2 gauge, 0/1 gauge is preffered

i ran 0 to a battery box i bought. always install a cicuit breaker with it and pick up a stereo wire distribution block. fit's nicely in the trunk
