So i just bought a 91 ef has a d15b1 thats been converted to mp and it has high ruff idle and i can smell gas alot which im guessin is from running rich as well as some white exhaust smoke.
so i checked the ecu its running the pm6 and now if its not the ecu im stuck

reving to about 2500 on start up. and varies from 1500 to 2500 during driving around.

smelling lots of gas.

any advice on where i should start looking?

check each part of the fuel system that had to be changed when converting DPFI -> MPFI. first thing is your injectors. ODB1 = no resister box. ODB0 = resister box. Even with the resister box teg injectors will run rich. make sure they're for your engine, Civic SI preferably

it could look different depending on which model they pulled it from. usually a black box. one wire in, and four wires out to the injectors. best thing is to find someone who knows what they're looking for.
