Default Pulling out my D16z6

I need to pull my d16 out of my 95 honda civic ex, does anyone know where I should start or has pictures or video on how to take it out. Do I have to pull the tranny out with it or can I just pull the block out?
I need to get the block out cus I shot a rod though it.

I am a huge noob, but it seems that honda motors and trannys are pretty light so you might be able to pull out both at the same time. But other than that I seem to be hearing about a "bitch pin" somewhere between the motor and tranny if you decide to take just the motor. Over all it doesn't sound too difficult with the execption of the bitch pin.

bitch pin holds the shift linkage to the tranny..
and why do you need it out?
if you dont know how then you should have some one help you..or try and help some one else before you attempt this on your own..
try to find a video on youtube

idk what your talkin abou in the first part of that statement and the next is if your just thinking about swappin it i would def have a motor already lined up ready to be swapped in before i pull the motor out

i just re read your edited post and if thats the case pull them both at the same time unhook all your wires and hses drain all fluids coolent oil trans oil and then unhook shift linkage atch engine hoist pull mount bolts and yank her out carefully you dont wanna damage the tps sensor..
then take your tranny and put in on the new block
