what the hell is wrong with my car?
ok, i dont know what could be the problem but i'm narrowing it down on something to do with the fuel injectors, or pump, but here goes.
i'll be driving normally and the car will just stop accelerating for a second (like its choking) and then it'll jerk HARD. this happens when im at 5%-35% throttle, but it doesnt do this when im on wot (it only happens during normal driving). this only happens with my chipped p28 (i have a 2000 civic w/ b18c1 obd-II>obdI) but i know that the ecu is fine because i just got it re-chipped and just got it looked at. i dont think its because i'm running rich because i resetted my fuel pressure to 38-40 psi. my car isnt throwing any codes.
i want to get this fixed because its pissing me off. when i'm in first and second gears, it'll jerk so hard that my tires chirp and people around me think i'm driving like a ******* speed racer or some ****.
one of my friends said that it might be that my injectors are messed up or someting but before i want to go out and buy new injectors, i want to know if its the reason. these injectors came with the motor.
i'm about to drive my car into a ******* river. help please! thanks.

I had the same problem that Zeus Zore is describing with my 90 civic LX. It's completely stock. My cousin who's a Honda tech discovered that it was a small crack in the coil. He replaced the coil and it runs just fine now. Maybe that's what's happening with your cars. HTH

I had the same problem in my 97 Hx with hondata. I had alot of wiring issues, and tracked it down to the primary O2 sensor ground wire to the ECU.
Once I got the ground properly connected, the car ran fine.

ever think it might be the driver
actually, the check engine light comes on occasionally but when i turn off the car, and turn it back on, it goes away.

what crack and where !?! ign. coil you meen !?and how does it kinda look like !!??
still got the engine and all .. so could go check it !! would be nice 2 know what the hell was wrong in the first place !! (allso 2 tell other peeps with same prob !)
but one thing that keeps buggin my mind is efter i did a swap with new in car wires/engine and ECU (witch leaves only fuel pump and fuellines from old engine, i was thinkin more about that it had somthing 2 do with fuel)
it would still some time get that die´in thing but not as much as before and not as clear ..
once again it feelt like gas probs !!
all ways thought that maybe fuel pressur was 2 low at idle and low engine speed.. som how !?

I'd pull out the injectors and see if they're dirty or any deposits in them. clean them out and see what happens. Do what ^^ said too, check coil and ignition, grounds, connection, just to see if there's anything noticably wrong. Cars can suck sometimes though.

also, i would like to add...once in awhile, when i start my car, it would idle at around 200-300 rpm and boggle like for about 25 seconds and then it would gradually idle itself back up to normal idle.
and sometimes my car wont start, and i would have to crank it for a long time until the motor starts. im going to check the ignition sometime this week. thanks for all the help!

could it be the fuel filter maybe? I don't know how many miles are on the car, but maybe the fuel filter is clogged or something...or could be ignition...good luck
