Wanted to know if anyone had this problem.

My car wont stay running unless i hold the key in the start position once the car is on. if it bounces back the car will die. the car will start up everytime but once in a while this will happen. Installed a viper 5901 but this issue didnt start until after the swap was done.

i have an Ek with a 00 b18C swap.

checked the wires and nothing that i can see.

I'm gonna say its the ignition switch cause I'm having that same problem, I need to replace mine as well.

 

Where would i find that? is it in the ignition assembly?

 

the ignition switch, is the assembly you insert your key into, its attached to the steering column behind the steering wheel, i believe thats what needs to be replace, that would mean you'd also need a different ke for your new switch
