ok so i have a 93 teggy with a b20b with a p8r head and a j1 tranny. im keeping the tranny and switching the head to a type r b18c5...OK! now my question is i need to get my tranny worked on. basically a full rebuild or a new tranny. what do you guys suggest because its my daily driver and i dont have the tools to rebuild myself so its gotta be able to be done within a couple of weeks at the most! or i can buy a new tranny but i dont know if theres something better with that set up rather then the j1? i dont have a huge amount of bank but i do want to do it right so throw some ideas at me please! if theres a shop in or near daytona beach please let me know, all of them that i know of want to use there own parts and they cant get j1 gears....SO thanks for the help!!
