I have a 98 ek civic which sarted out as a 1.6 sohc vtec. I had a 92 dohc vtec jap engine and gearbox and decided to put it in the ek. I got a 98 ek sir loom and used it. So the engine is in now and the car is running but the problem is the altenator is not charging the battery and the car wont heat up like it should.. Did anyone have any of these problems before??? thanks in advance

 

maybe your alternator went bad??? re bleed your coolant system and check if your thermostat got stuck open

 

check the alternator with a voltage regulator and see what its putting out then check it at the battery
