i ust chamged the alternator on my 96 civic.. and the car still does not charge the battery as it should. i dont know what it can be either the wiring.. maybe an earth thats ntot well connected.. i need help badly

what was changed prior to all this?
meaning, did that alt go bad and you replaced it and still doesnt charge?

or did you move the battery, put in a system, swap the engine, and it didnt charge, then you replaced the alternator and it still doesnt charge?

we need a little more than that.

no no. the whole car was working. it just stoped working out of the blue.. i had to get a jump start and then..... like an hour later the battery was dead and i tough it was the batery but its not it.. the alternator isnt it either i jus finished putting it and it didnt work.. i dont know what else to do.. i was adviced to take it to an electric shop.. but i doubt it has a short

was the alt new or rebuilt? or used?
did you accidentally jump the car backwards?
