Default is open header bad for all-motor???

i would like to get the qtp cut out but some people say its bad for na cars? just wanted to hear what you guys have to think!???

It's not "bad", you just have to have it tuned.

I asked the same type of questions when I first came on here, as you ask now. Simple put...you will need to retune your ECU's fuel and ignition parameters for almost any change you make to your setup, for maximum power output. Sure you can run the cutout just like that, but you will gain more power of tuned .

Get tuned by Rich at Fluid Motorsports in Tacoma. Great guy and service, he charges about 275 flat rate and changes spark plugs and compression test and everything I believe.

why would you need stronger springs and retainers to run without an exhaust?
