My car recently burned a few rod bearing up resulting in low oil pressure damaging the crank. The crank has to have a grind now but ime not sure what bearings to use ? ? I really wanted to use oem but from what i gather they dont do a .25 over sized. So what do you guys think i should do ?

 

get some plastigauge.

 

I have but what brand of bearing should i go for ?

 

the popular choice seems to be acl, or even honda. king isn't too bad either from reading. i guess it comes down to personal preference.

 

i used king. and they havent let me down. 300+hp
and king is cheaper then acl
but buy a new crank...

 

I would get a new crank and then use regular sized OEM bearings of the proper color. I don't trust many shops to turn a honda crank properly.

 

go king.. never let me down had bad acl bearings twice get a diffrent crank.
