have u tried the bone yards in your area? look for 92-95 civic si or 93-95 civic ex and some del sol's. you might have to travel to find in other areas.

Re: d16z6!! where?
Very little different between them. The D15 has a smaller displacement and 5 more HP. Also has a unique crank and pistons I believe. The head is the same as the Z6, just a more aggressive cam. If you have a P28 ecu and everything, the D15 will run just fine with that. It's pretty much a direct replacement for the Z6, just JDM.

Re: d16z6!! where?
d15b is from other countries
d16z6 u.s.
look and run pretty much the same. easier to find parts from dealer and autoparts for z6. my friend that lives in las cruces used to go to the junk yards in El paso with me back in 95 and get some good parts. leave them your number so that when they get a d16z6 they can call you.

Re: d16z6!! where?
i have seen d16z6 motors on ebay in the past. i personally like to look and smell a motor before i buy it in person. jdmunlimited in oceanside get d15b motors from time to time. people buy them all the time for stock replacements. do research and do whats best for you.

Re: d16z6!! where?
The only things that won't work off the Z6 on the D15B are the timing belt and water pump. You need the timing belt and water pump for the VX model (D15B7) BUT you need the timing belt tensioner for the Z6.
Pretty much, a D series is a D series. Almost all the parts are interchangeable.

And as far as the exhaust thing goes... I don't know what you're reading, but it's wrong. Z6 exhaust will work just fine on the D15B. I know this for a fact because that's what I have in my car right now. I'm also using the 4 wire O2 sensor with the P08 (D15B) ecu with no problems.
