Default your thougths on this problem i am having

the car is a 98 Accord LX F23 motor, the problem it is having is that when the throttle is pressed down hard, it will stall, if its feathered really lightly it will rev and not stall.this is when it in park, when it is in drive, and you give it gas it will stall. i pulled the codes and one was a tps and o2 sensor so i replaced both, now there are no codes and the car still stalls.

i have installed a newer throttle body with a stock tps, that i got form a salvage yard. cleaned out egr and icv, there is spark and there is fuel.
when i get it to rev it will go to about 4 grand then just bog down and stall.
driving it is nearly impossible, if i cant get the throttling right, it just stalls,
i don't know what else to check.

any help on this issue will be very much appreciated.

please let me know what this is as my car just started doing this also....thats if I can get the car started.! I just changed the crank pulley,bolt/washer and had to buy a special tap because the threads were a tiny bit messed up from the old one flying off. when I went to start it after work was done it didnt want too,so we checked the plugs and wires. I really have a feeling and almost hope it's a fuel problem, dirty fuel/water etc...

Change your fuel filter yet?

Did you adjust the TPS properly? (0.5V closed & 4.5V WOT)

MAP sensor working properly?

In addition to fuel filter and other suggestions from slomofo, couldn't a clogged catalytic converter also cause stalling? Like the proverbial potato stuffed into the tailpipe as a prank?

The TPS isn't adjustable on this throttle body. I tend to agree with the swapped MAP and TPS connectors. I have seen this before. Also, funny thing is, the values aren't so out of whack, so a DTC usually won't set. Way to go Honda...
