I recently traded im 93' eg hatchback for a 97' del sol. the reason was becasue i rarely see any around where i live and everyone has a hatch with the same stuff. ill post up pics later but i wanted to know what kind of swap would be awesome for it as a daily driver.

any b series swap would be good...prob a gsr or b16. the only drawback to the del sols b series swaps is that you have to find the shift linkage from a factory b16 del sol. i wish i had a del sol tho. congrats. pics or ban!! lol jk...

 

ownin a sol and a b16a id say go bigger. its fun but still kinda slow cuz sols weigh so much. so id say gsr so you get that extra little torque.

an h series might be fun but thats alotta weight and modification for a DD.

get it from hmotorsonline and they'll send you the shift linkage too. how i got mine.

 

go gsr.. my friend has a 93 del sol with a gsr and it is pretty quick.

 

Congrats on the del sol. I have a slightly upgraded B16 in mine and I think its quick enough to be fun and a great DD still

 

thanks guys for the info. might go gsr the price range isnt really an issue just something not to crazy. i want it to be my DD and also have some power. also what kind of apperances things there are like front lips, fog lights, etc..


Gsr leather front seats overall clean interior except the door locks are wierd


Exhaust tip not sure but has an emblem at the bottom sounds ok
