My dome light hasn't worked for the longest time and I have no idea why. The bulb is fine and there are no blown fuses in the fuse box. I am using an aftermarket radio and I still have the stock radio installed hidden behind the dash. It worked for years even after I installed the radio. The regular light near the rear view mirror works and all the power doors, windows work.

At this point, I am just at a loss.

 

is this a 96-98 civic? if so you need to jump 2 wires on the security plug behind the stereo, it's a Green plug like the deck plug
