well my driver side window rows up side ways ,what can the problem ???

 

the nut probably came loose from the rail that pushes up the window...!!!

 

oh ok and how do i fix it ??

 

you place the window back on the rail and put a new nut...you have to remove the door panel...!!!

 

do you know what size nut it is ??

 

no...test fit different nuts that fit the bolt...!!!

 

cool will try this tomorrow and let you know if it was that

 

theres actually 2 10mm bolts that attatch the window to the regulator. its proly laying inside the door somewheres. or maybe the regulator came apart somwhere on the bottom. your civic is full of those 10mm bolts. if you really needed to you could swipe on from somewheres else. ive donre it before

yes. it was one of the rollers on the lower rail of the regulator. and ive changed a broken window on my 91 dx. 2 10mm bolts hold it on

 

so its the roller ?

 

i cant really tell you whether it is or isnt...you must take off your door panel, peel off the plastic if theres any...and physical look inside the door at YOUR window and have a look. investigate my friend..see what the problem is.

and all the nuts seem to be there ??

 

you should see 2 10mm bolt heads on the bottom of the window. check to see if the window is sliding thru the track on both sides evenly. perhaps the guide rails on the side of the window have problems

 

take of panel...try rolling ur window up...and see what causes the problem as your doing that....

 

my drivers side window would roll down fine, but when i would go to roll it up the top edge would go in too far and get jammed up on the door seal. turns out my regulator was bowed... along with all four mounting bolt holes being stripped and stretched, so the whole regulator rotated back a bit causing it to roll up crooked...

 

just replace the window regulator
