New Civic Si Info/Opinions/Pictures Please =)
Just like the topic says I'm considering a new Si and I'm trying to gather as much information as possible. If you have one what do you think? Some specific questions I have are:
1) Are parts for the K series motors interchangeable like B series motors (things like headers, internals, etc.)
2) I've heard of people seeing awesome gains on RSX Type S's from just simple bolt ons anyone hear anything like this about the new Si?
3) Any particular problems you've heard of?.
4) What's up with OBD whatever on this car?
Thanks in advance for your insight/opinions/whatever, I appreciate it

www.ephatch.com
The only reason they are beating Type S' is because MOST(I say most because thats all you see driving them around here) of the drivers are cocky 17 yr olds who dont know how to drive. The new Si is an overpriced, overweight hatchback.
edit* I see you already have an EG according to ur username
keep it

2) it has potential but it was already said, its overweight, overpriced and not that special

my .02
if your gonna spend 20,000$
spend a little more and get somthing NICE.
is300, 350z or if those are way out of your range
a turbo jetta, etc etc
but i would finish your car.
A guy here at work just bought a new SI. He got it for $17,200. It was $18,500 out the door. I don't think that's too bad at all. Comparing it to what else is in that price range, it's not the fastest but it has the best build quality. I haven't had a chance to drive one yet. What else is out there for 17k?
