so my car wont start.i had no spark so i changed my distributor.now i have spark but it still wont start. i am getting fuel cuz if i try starting it enough it will flood. my main relay does all 3 clicks, my cil stays on for 2 seconds then shuts off like its supposed to so its not my ecu. any ideas

while trying to start it does it almost start or does it back fire????

 

it just cranks then sometimes backfired but wen it backfired i took off the dizzy and turn the crank 180 and put it back on then it didnt backfire but it didnt sound right like it was a whining crank

 

anyone? is it possible the timing belt slipped ?

 

timing belt or dissy or maybe compression but youve got to be carful if its flooding otherwise it will dulute your oil

 

firing order sounds like its out man

 

your dizzy is out 180 degrees,i had the same problem with my crx,the rotor in the dizzy is most likely pointed at #4 sparrk plug when it should be at #1

 

yea if you get backfires that means theres visible life....Such as the right components of air fuel and spark....You just need to find out which element is out of order thats preventing the motor to start....

possible causes/not enough or too much fuel-air....aka Injectors/crank position sensor?/FIRING ORDER/Timing//bad compression/a couple of bad spark plugs/maybe some bad wires/Distributor malfunction/fuel pump/votages/clogged exhaust/and any unplugged harnesses or sensor...

Most Likely your ignition timing if off...
