So im like wth maybe its the thermo, so i change that out, still doesn't work.. look in the engine bay and notice that the coolant temp sensor wire snapped off and was just hanging.. Did the wire break off the plug all together, or is there some wire left on the plug to solder together? It's hard to tell from that pic. If it did break off, your best bet would be to go to a local junkyard, get the connector (with a couple inches of wire on it), and then solder it to your engine harness wire.

Yes, there is a little bit of wire left on the plug, I turned my car on and had my friend observe the gauge as I connected it and it went up, its not much though.. I get what your saying though, i might try that but if there is any other way please let me know.
