how to fix check engine problems.....
i have a b16a in a 95 civic dx hatchback i was wondering what route to take to fix the problems that are being displayed from the ecu codes:
36 Traction control found on jdm ecu's
22 vtec pressure valve
10 IAT intake air tempurature sensor
14 IAc (Eacv) idle air control valve
21 Vtec Spool Solenoid valve
for code 21 & 22 im assuming im going to need a new vtec solenoid
Any ideas......

is this a new swap? did you just drop the engine in and get these codes? what's the background of the situation?
It's possible you have the wrong ECU in there. USDM ECU's and JDM ECU's are pinned differently.
More Info plz!

yes its a new swap but the ecu came with the engine.... basically the check engine light has been on since i put the swap in at first i thought it was just my o2 sensor not being hooked up but after i hooked it up it didnt go off. and then i decided to search how to find the codes and they are the codes that came up
You should check the wiring. Specificly the IAT and IACV. It looks like you may have some of the IM wires mixed up. Make sure the wires lead to the correct ECU pins.
i didnt have to change anything the wires everything plugged directly up to the ecu.....

Make real sure there pluged in and it is possible to get some of the plug to sensors mixed up there not complete idiot proof if that don't work take vtec sensors off clean and blow out get another throttle body to change iac and replace the temp sensor
my check engine is giving off the code 4 Crank position sensor but i have a 92-95 b16a swap and ive been told by numerous people that my engine doesnt have one of those they dont come until 96 and up is this true????
since u have a dx hatch u will need to run your vtec wires from the ecu to the vtec solenoid its not very hard to do u just need to find the right pins. and as for your iac and iat just switch those around im sure u mixed them up causing them to throw codes
and im almost positive my ecu is OBDII

find out what code u have and lmk.
hatcheys- the pcv is the thicker hose that comes from the front of the intake manifold and leads to in between one of the runners. from there it goes down to behind the block into a lil black box.
