Post CRX B16A

i got a b16A basically stock just dc headers anda aem cold air intake. i also got a usdm s1 tranny in it. my ecu is a pr3 mugen chipped. my v tech pops at 4500? i seem to think its a lil early? what does this mean like my v tech goin off thiss early does it like waste more gas or something what you guys sugggest?

change your ecu some ecu have there vtec kickin at 5rpm or even at 51/2

First to correct you....it is spelled vtec

Second, you are most likely better off with a stock ecu for a basically stock engine

Seriously, get a stock ECU. You aren't a dyno, and neither is some guy off ebay, so don't mess with your fuel and ign maps.

ok i no how to spell vtech were not in english class who gives a **** how i spell v tech u understood me so dont really matter but if im planning on boosting it with wyscoe pistons and eagle rods and type r cams would that ecu still work?

No, you don't *know* how to spell, and vtec never *was* in english class. Oh, and while we're here, let me point out that it *does not* matter, but you're being such a dick I figure I'd help you out with your typos.

the spelling of vtec by the op angers me as well, and being such a stubborn little bizatch, you wont get any help from anyone.

u going to have to take that chip out they wanted to chip mine but vtec poped at 4500 i said naw to early

You're a clown and will fail miserably. Do your homework instead of starting new threads. Pay someone to put your car together, then take it to a tuner.
