Hi Guys, im been looking around the infomation about the different between B16B engine spec and B18CR or B18C5 engine spec... Instead of Pistons, Crank size, Cam, Valves are different...
Do u guys know is there any different between Injectors, Fuel pump, Oil pump, Fuel Regulator, Thorttle body size and etc.....? Or some others different....Pls share.. i think a lot ppl would like to know...Thanks

 

All the same. Crank, piston and I THINK rods are the only diff.

 

and depending on year the cams are differnt and the head on the itr haves a slight hand porting , arnt the valves and springs differnt also?

 

Ehh forgot the earlier itr motor. Yeah cams are a tad bit different, but all the VT is a double spring on both sides.

 

the b16b crank has a shorter stroke and it also has a longer connecting rod then itr, the pistons also have a higher dome then itr, buttttt.... you can find a b16b block and put itr connecting rod pistons and crank in it and people wouldnt know wtf just tell them its a b16b

everything else, oil pump timing belt tensioner water pump should all be the same as itr the cams should be the same as the 99-01 jdm itr as well

 

The TB´s are different in size, B16B Intake cam is a bit more agressive than the ITR one Exhaust cam is the same.

Thanks for sharing guys.... from my find and understanding... B16B and B18cr share the same block, the crank size, rod, pistons and cams are different...this is confirmed..

Some ppl told me the TB sizes, fuel pump, oil pump, injectors and fuel regulator are different,some said same...im confused and dont know how to differentiate it...any ideas? Anyone had experiences?

To the best of my knowledge the TB's were the same size. The fuel pump, injectors and regulator are all exactly the same. If you want to find out the rest, just look the parts up online and see if they're the same for each model.
