ok, i just put in a new si/ex cluster in my EH2...except that during shipping it got messed up. THe front plastic part was all cracked so i had to swap it with my dx cluster. Also, i swapped the speedo/odometer. however, the problem is that my fuel needle fell off during the shipping. I don't know how to put it back on, and when i look through the hole, all i can see is a little white nub with a hole in it. the needle has a pin in the back, so i am guessing that the needle goes into the hole in the white nub....but for some reason it won't stick in when i push the needle in. i know how many miles to the tank i get (on average) so should i just forget it? or how much would it cost to get it fixed?

 

keep trying to fix it yourself or go to a shop and ask them how to do it or have them fix it for you...

 

ok, the honda dealership quoted me $100 for just the needle mechanism. I dont want to buy a whole new guage cluster, so should i just leave it? its kind of bugging me though.

 

your gas gauge might be interchangable from your stock cluster. just take the face off your stock gas gauge, then un skrew it from the back and see if it fits in. and if you do end up needing a new gauge check out his site http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...R+COMPONENTSou

did you have insurance on it when it was shipped??? if so claim it.. also was it packed well or did you nkow the seller cause it could have been Fuck3d up and he was just tryin to scam someone and you bit the bullet.. goodl ucj
