besides oem what headlights have u guys ued its a 99 civic i got black housing ones from ebay the lighting sucks its all over the place insted of a nice beam any info is appreciated pics would be great also

 

OEM is the best. No gaps or anything and will never disappoint you. I got some locally on craigslist recently. 50 bucks for both with good tabs and everything

there are NO nice aftermarket headlights for the ek,although im not against aftermarket headlights, there are high quality, great fitting aftermarket headlights, they're jsut so ugly for the ek

Would it really matter what housing you used if you were planing to retro anyway? That is what I want to do. But my current oem housings don't look so great anymore and have a couple small chips, etc... Not sure how I would fix that.

Any gunmetal housing head lights. Genuine CTR are pricey but there are some aftermarket ones.

You'd be the first person I'd ever heard of to find any non-stanley light that puts out light as well.

 

stick with OEM.
Check craigslist often; I just found a set of good condition for 40 bucks.
