how do i get access to back of door panel?
could some please explain to me how to pull the inside of my door of so i can get access to the inside of the door panel? i want to get the dings out of my door.
Do this:
<ul>[*]Remove window crank handle (ya know, the thing for your windows... sorry, just woke up). You do this by pulling out the C-clip from underneath it. Get in there with a flathead screwdriver, you can do it. Next pull off the window crank and the plastic washer.[*]Remove doorhandle. Do this by lifting up the handle like you're opening the door from the inside, then removing that screw that's visible & saving it. Now set it aside, unlock the door (should already be unlocked, but whatever) and pull the plastic cover around the handle off while holding the handle open. It's a little tricky but not rocket science.[*]Remove the single screw from the little handle you use to close your door (the one that's integrated into the armrest). Wiggle the little plastic cup until it comes free - it's clipped into place. [*]If this is the driver's side door I believe there's also some screws in the bottom storage box that need to be undone. Please do so.[*]There should be a screw or two on the part of the door nearest the back of the car - the back edge. Please undo.[*]Now the door panel should be basically free. Starting at the bottom, work your hand underneath a small bit at a time. Finally the door panel will snap free - it's held in with retaining clips. Just keep yanking those out one at a time until the bottom is loose. Now lift the door panel straight up into the air - this will pull it off the actual metal door piece - and out. [/list]
That should be it
One final note: the door interior is covered by a plastic sheet. I'm not sure how you'll get that off there and then reattach... I don't think silicone works.

Usually door dings are in the center of the door, and there is reinforcement metal there.. So even if you take the door panel off you won't be able to get the dings out most likely hehe.
