i went out to go to work in my 94 civic 4 door and my car will start then shut off right away. the connection on the neg. side of my battery is a lil loose but im not sure if that may have shorted something or what the deal might be. please help me on the trouble shooting thanks.

 

Check or change your air and fuel filters.

 

Do you have a check engine light? If you start it, and push the gas pedal, will it stay running until you let off the gas? It could be an IACV issue, or a vacuum leak. A little more information could help narrow it down.
