Help Please!!! car stutters cold and after ideling!
ok ive got an em1, it had a bad iacv so i had that replaced. and i thought it would take care of my problem. when i start driving when its cold it stutters through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, sometimes 4th, until i hit around 3500 rpms. when i hit that high it feels like it breaks free and then drives normally. until i cruise down a hill. as soon as im at the bottom of the hill and i give it more throttle itll stutter on me again and i have to hit the gas hella hard to break it free. i throw an o2 sensor code (bank 1) secondary i replaced already. but its totally random and doesn't affect how the car drives at all. also sometimes when the car is warm itll stutter, it seems it does just right after start up and ideling at long periods of time.
also when it happens and im not accelerating, im just keeping the same amount of throttle it first feels like i take my foot off the peddle completely, then i have to floor it to try to break it free.
im sorry for the bad explanation i just dont know what to do and it sucks. thanks in advance guys.

Ill check it out thanks man. i took my cap off and noticed that there were only 2 screws holding it on. the bottom one was gone. also inside the cap looked good. no corrosion or water. the plug wires look good but they may not be. also what should my plug gap be? stock motor...
so i checked it out and i have great spark at each plug wire, and plug. the cap and rotor are good. i also did a comp test and it came out great. also im not sure if its an spark problem becuase it isn't a constant problem. its pretty much intermitent or however you spell it. so im still not sure what to do. maybe my fitv???
You have pretty much ruled out an ignition problem. It looks like you are either running rich or lean for some reason. You might try disconnecting the PCV valve hose from the IM when you start the car cold. This will allow extra air to enter the IM. If the problem with running the car cold is that there isn't enough air getting in when fast idle engages, then running with the PCV hose disconnected should make the car run better. If the problem is that too much air is getting in, then it will make the problem worse. Do not run the car with the PCV hose disconnected longer than is necessary to diagnose the problem. The air hole bypasses the air filter and can allow dust into the motor. Once you note the effect of removing the hose, stop the car and reconnect it.
