Why do you need anything more than a stock honda b16 piston? The rod is usually the weakest link. Its a piston if it fits your application there is no pro or con.

I only answered because your a fellow PA resident, next time think before you post.

huh lol first off i cant run a 81mm b16 piston in a 84mm b20 block second is i heard running forged pistons on stock rods are not good im asking because i have forged pistons and stock rods and if its not goona work then i guess i would either have to get new rods or cast pistons and i did think before i posted maybe you didnt read the post correctly

Last time I checked a B16 piston is for an 81mm bore block.
Think before you post!

B20 was in title and not in the body i didnt consider that in the thread, there is no harm using a forged piston on a OEM rod.
If you have em use em

they make p30's in bigger bore sizes jackasses..

Compression wise, a p30 like piston would suit the app fine.. lets think before we speak, thats twice you'd been told that.

umm im not sure if you are talking to me but i never seen a p30 piston in a 84mm bore and the compression of the forged pistons i have is 10.5:1 thats the compression i wanted which is why i went with a forged piston and why is everyone talking about b16 pistons i have a B20VTEC 84MM BORE geez not a b16 look the only purpose of this thread was to see if i can use my oem B20 rods with my srp pistons

So you bought the pistons before you did any research? Tisk tisk.

Yes there is no reason they will not work

But:

SRP is the low end JE stuff which imo doesn't compare to what you can get with wiseco.

the rods will work, but you have to get it modded for floating pins.
