Default ECU Auto or Man.

91 Integra motor from a Man. tranny car, in a 90 CRX. ECU is from an automatic car,pr-4-a52. We get an EGR code because there is no EGR w/man tranny motor. Not a problem. Have some bogging issues after warm-up that I'll check into later. But the question I would like an answer to is: Would the ECU matter if It's from an auto or not?
Thanks in advance,
TJ

if you have a m/t set up in your car then it wont matter too badly seeing as the computer controls when the a/t transmission shifts. if you dont mind a check engine light then ride on that ecu. me personally i dont like cel's, because it could also hide a bigger warning and you will be thinking its just an EGR check engine light. i would ride on it if i had no other choice untill i located the correct one.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The CEL does have the VSS and a temp codes also. Don't know why the VSS, cause the speedo works great. The temp code could very well be the sender for high oil temp. Isn't hooked-up. I'm working out issues with this car with my boy. We're learning alot. Engine has a bad bog off idle and on up to about 3000 rpm.
