Ok so I started having problems when my car got flooded about 2 inches on the inside. After letting it dry out for about a week my friend my friends hooked up his battery charger thing and told me to start the car. It started to my suprise. The check engine light came on and blinked 14 times. The idle was going crazy going up and down and then suddenly would turn off. So we ended up disconnecting the plug that goes to the idle control valve. The car would stay on longer but would idle very low. Later that night I tried to start the car again but it wouldn't start at all so we push started the car and it turned on. So I called it a night. The next day after reading how to clean the iacv I tried it. After puttin the piece back on I tried the car. My battery was still dead. But this time none of the lights like the check engine light or seat belt light would come on. No clicking or anythig just pure silence. So I thoougt I might as well try to push start it again. This time it wouldn't turn on. So I thought my battery was beyond dead or something. I bought a new one hooked it up and car still wot start. Evrythig works like radio air lights but the dash lights still don't work. Idk what to so I'm lost. Any help??

 

Check Fuses???

 

Yeah I already checked them. Some one told me it might be the main relay??

 

Could be.
Check the starter feed circuit (wire from Battery positive terminal to starter)
Make sure u have good connections, water causes major corrosion!

 

The only thing with that is that the main relay wouldn't cause ur dash lights to stop working...
