Default Prospective buyer

Hey guys, this is my first post in the Type-r section and hopefully not the last. Ive come across a Type-r shell that needs some loving, but its a pretty good platform to start off of. I have a couple questions, can someone maybe give me some background info on the car like maybe the badge number or some history of the car if give them the VIN#? Another thing, how much would I expect to pay for full coverage insurance or just liability on the car for a 21 year old with no accidents? ive searched with no luck. Thanks!!

Unless its from Canada. No CW in 00-01 in the US. His old CL ad said 98.

If it was Canadian it could be a 97, 98, 99, 00, or 01.

A V would be a 1997 and a W would be a 1998. In either case, there is a good chance of getting the badge number for a 97 or 98 (https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-type-r-8/1997-1998-badge-numbers-2699535/).

Hey mang,
The VIN you PMed me is of a USDM 2001 Nighthawk Black Pearl ITR...at least originally.
Someone really painted it white?
As of April 2006 carfax it had a clean title out of Illinois. I don't have an exact badge # or history. Badge # should be in the low 300s. If I find out anything more, I'll let you know....if you pick this up

Go to a website that gives quotes for multiple insurance companies, like Insweb.com or Insure.com, and get a quote. You can do this without actually owning the car. That way, you will no exactly what YOU will pay, not someone else who lives somewhere else and is different from you.

Beingthat the 10th digit is a 1 that confirms Joe that it is a 2001.

They made CW ITR's in Japan in 2001, but they were the DC5 bodystyle.
