Crx weight
By the way i have a 1989 Crx SI, with a swaped SOHC ZC motor and still has the stock SI Tranny. Its lowered 4 inches on 15 inch gsr blades. So because of this zc motor, and me being broke. I was wondering if there is anything that if taken out, would make a substantial difference in the performance of the car. So if anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.
I like my Si
, and as for the seats, maybe, but taking out everything like, the seat, and plastic panels, which all together weight like 15 lbs. this might not save alot. the carpet is out, and i have after market seats, dunno their weight, but its probably 25 lbs each, the only real extra weight in my car are my subs and they probly only weight 50lbs. so if i took every thing out i would only save like 100 lbs, is that really worth it?. lol

its really not worth stripping the interior imho. i would rather have the luxury and comfort rather noise and rattles and minus 20 or 40 pounds. plus since its an Si it has nice interior. dont ruin it haha. but its your car do what you like with it. if the seats are clean, take very good care of them. they are hard to come by. especially 89 Si seats.
