when you say front do you mean to the side of the dizzy below the vtec solenoid? i have a b20 swap in my ek and im using gsr hoses and other end of the hose goes right below the cam plug which on the gsr motor the vtec solenoid is there(so is the cam plug but its in front of the solenoid)

hope this helps.

Yep...lower to the thermostat. That's the way to remember...it lets the cool coolant in which 'pushes' the hot coolant out

it takes quite some time for the fan to come on especially at idle. im sure you are fine. if you stat overheating while in traffic then look into why the fan isnt coming on. also make sure the coolant is bled properly that can cause the fan not to kick on too
