Have you replaced/checked anything past getting the air out of the system? Is your fan actually working? Replace that hose at the very least. New thermostats aren't that expensive either.

Jump the fan connector, un plug it at the thermostat take a paper clip and put each end in each hole in the connector then turn the car to position 2 and see if the fan works.
It takes a lot of running to get the fan to kick on by itself.

Re: damn radiator hoses still
yeah jump the fan as said earlier. if it starts then fan is ok
then if your lower hose stays cold even with old cap then ur thermostate is stuck close.
as for over expansion of upper hose, ur new cap is out of specs i.e. not opening & letting the water/coolent to reserve bottle

Here do what i did
1st run a water hose trough your heater core in the opposite way it circulates for about 3 minutes
2nd replace the thermostat with an OEM t-stat
3rd use distilled water in the system untill all coolant is gone and the debris too just keep pouring it in while you have the radiator plug loose i used 3 gallons
4th use 50/50 pre dilluted coolant
5th let the heat slider be all the way on warm but no fan on so it gets hot and the coolant circulates all the way trough the system
6th burp the system again took me about 1hr to do it on mine
put the radiator cap back on and top up you overflow tank see if it works
