Default Skunk2 Stage 2 Or Pro 2 Cams?

Good day 2 all. I own a stock 1999 JDM Civic Type R, and i'm planning on doing a build later this year. I am currently in the process of obtaining all necessary parts for my build. Basically, the motor is being stroked to a displacement of 1834cc

Basic specs for my build:
B20 (89mm) balanced crankshaft
Wiseco pistons and eagle rods, compression of about 12.0:1 (standard bore 81mm)

I've decided to upgrade my cams as well, and have 2 choices:
Skunk2 s2 or p2.

I've seen some threads already pertaining to these cams, but i am seeking some good advice or first hand experience, to aid in making my decision.
I want the car to remain as best a daily driver as possible. It will be raced at the drag strip once or twice a week, and ofcourse at big race events.

In my research i read that the lifts are fairly close, but the stage 2's have quite a bit of longer duration than the pro 2's. Can someone explain fully what this means please, and what differences in power would be like.
I know the pro 2's give a wider powerband beacause of the seamless cross over vtec point. But would i need this if the car is to be raced on a 1/4 mile, due 2 the fact i would spend 95% of the race in vtec?

Thanks for any help.

pro2's have been proven to make more power everywhere.

Skunk2 tuner 2 cams will beat Pro1's every day of the week. I don't know about Pro2's making more power than Tuner 2's all the time. Myself and another member on here had the exact same setup on the exact same bore and stroke, with the exception of me using tuner 2's and him using Pro2's...over graphs were mirror images if overlayed. Food for thought that bigger is not always better.
