Thanks for the link. They never really came to a conclusion. is it just preference or is one built stronger than the other. certain shops recommend certain products. Anyone have any available dyno sheets for crower stage 2 or skunk stange 2 cams?? im also doing entire vavletrain so any help there would also be much appriciated. thanks in advance.

the skunk2 cams have a higher lift than the crowers in the same stage. however, with both cams if you are going stage 2 or above, you won't notice much difference unless you up the compresssion. stage 2+ cams really shine with upped compression. its a matter of preference, in a sense that, it depends on what your goals are. both are great cams, skunk2 cams are known to be more aggressive (skunk2 stage 2 cams are equivalent to crower stage 1 cams, for example).

I thought Crower 2 was equivalent to Skunk2 stage 1, and Crower 3 was more like s2s2... Maybe I should look again at the specs..

or you should.

I have dyno'd before and after my cam upgrade. Also included in that was the change over to Type-S pistons, and .25 oversizing.

Cams = Crower Stage 2 Cams, dual springs and titanium retainers.
Pistons = Type-S .25 oversized pistons ~11:1 vs. the 10.6 stock

174.8 before cams, pistons and V-AFC
195.2 after cams, pistons, and tuned with a V-AFC

Note: You will be WAAAAAY lean without a tuning device.

personally i would go for hondata. but from those 2 i think you would have to go p28 chipped. dont know how a chipped p13 would be.
