Default ITR Exhaust Question

Just got an ITR exhaust and I don't have the bolts which connect the b-pipe to the muffler. Rather than going to honda and paying a rediculous amount of money for two blots and screws, I'm just going to pick some up at a local hardware store. Does anyone happen to know the size of these screws, length/width?? Since I can't really take the muffler in there, any help would be appreciated.

i dont know the size of the bolts or anything but what i remember is there is a spring that goes over the bolt, so it might be a pain in the *** trying to find the right spring to fit...have you checked the prices at acura? goodluck

There are springs. Do you also have the donut gasket?

I just happened to install an ITR muffler on my GSR and bought 2 new bolts from Honda (not Acura). I got them for about $2 each. Not expensive at all. You can use your old bolt, but since they are so cheap, you may as well get new ones.

BTW, use the old springs, there is nothing wrong with using the old springs.

I broke one and had to pay $9.23 for a replacement (not including spring) at John Elway Honda. I figured a Honda dealer would be cheaper than Acura, but I think I was wrong. Maybe I shouldn't have gone to a sellout's stealership.
