Re: exhaust flange/bolt question
without know what car your driving....its impossible to tell you. You need to give all the info on what your driving..year/make/model/engine swap? etc
Just general civic talk theres usually 2 spring loaded where the cat conv meets the tailpipe, about dead center in the car. Then there's about 3 rubber hangers, one towards the gas tank, one up front, and one near the muffler.
You'll need gaskets between the exhaust mani and head...between the cat and tailpipe and where-ever you have any breaks in the the pipe.

Re: exhaust flange/bolt question
cat to resonator are just 3 regular bolts with a flat gasket
the spring bolt kits are used between the header and cat and then between the resonator pipe and muffler
you can visit www.hondapartsunlimited.com for an oem diagram
