Default CR-X Windshield

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced place to get a replacement windshield(installed) for a CR-X? I live in NYC and don't want a shady backyard operation, a sub-par piece of glass or a wild price. I do not plan to do it myself as I have no time at all.
Thanks for any info.

Glass is glass. They will be bought fromost likely the same manufacturer. Unless you go to Honda. What you have to worry about is the installers skill. I highly recommend getting new molding each time, especially on our 20yr old cars. Most installers will re use the same old dried out molding

go to your local pick a part wrecking yards since most of them have a seperate auto glass window operation in the front of the yards...!!!

Safe Lite is ok i heard. I had a place called york auto glass do mine and came with a new seal. It was about $300 installed. Try the yellow pages and call some shops and ask for prices. Some places put a huge markup on windshields.

Got a quick question? Will a 91 Crx windsheld fit on to a 91 civic hatch? I have a Crx and a hatch, but the one on the hatch is cracked so i was thinking of switching em out. Any info would be appreciated

Just open up the phone book. Yellow pages will have 10+ window places.

Ask for the brand of glass they use, lof, pilkington, carlite, ppg, which are good brands. Some of the others are a hit and miss. The molding from honda cost me $75.00. If they sell cheap glass and don't price a moulding with the job i wouldn't use them.
