Default dyno numbers; stock d16z6 50 trim 10psi 246whp/223wtq

i decided to take my civic to carls accurate automotive in logan utah today to do a couple dyno runs. the results are not what i expected. i was expecting 200-210 at the most. they seem really high for the given setup but im sure the weather correction factor has a lot to do with it. runs were done on a mustang dyno, also done in 3rd gear. it was about 20* degrees outside and the shop doors were wide open and a huge cooling fan was blowing against the car. total timing at 10psi is 20* with no detonation and afr was at 12-12.5

246hp/223tq, 10psi, 91 octane

stock d16z6 (unknown miles)
ebay intercooler
ebay bov
dsm 450's
stock fuel pump
ngk bkr7e
stock head studs, stock head gasket
ebay cast mani
ebay 38mm wg
ebay 50 trim (over 5k miles! still breathing lol)
open downpipe, about 1 foot in length
street tuned by me and a friend on crome

where did u get the idea the turbo is a 50 trim? have you measured the inducer and exducer of the compressor wheel?

none the less great numbers for such low psi.

i am curious if you have a fuel pressure gauge? im blown away the stock fuel pump can keep up! good job.

PS, your brake fluid is low

according to the ebay specs it said 50 trim. i dont really care what trim it is honestly. i dont have a fuel pressure gauge but im sure im losing pressure at higher rpms using the stock pump. my max duty cycle is 95% lol.

good numbers man! alot of whp for 10psi but its mostly due to the timing. get a fuel pump in it, I have dsm's and made 314whp with room to grow.

your best bet would be to use the inducer and exducer size listed and calculate the trim from there.

apparently the chinese are bad at math...

damn those are some nice numbers.

i'm looking at going through the same setup pretty much. stock motor but with arp headstuds, dsm 450's and full exhaust 2.5", ebay "50 trim". just wondering if there is anyway you could send me your tune/.bin file? it would be a great basemap for my setup.
