hello..i got a 01 integra with a b20.the emissions here in chattanooga only reqiures a sniff test,gas cap test,catalystic converter, and computer readiness. everything pass except the computer readiness. they keep telling me that i havent drove the car enough but i have put nearly 120 miles and still its not ready.do i need another computer since i have a b20?if so what computer..any help would help me out..thanks in advance

 

what ecu are you running now? is the motor obd2 or converted to obd1?

 

the motor and car is obd2. i left it obd2 to pass emissions.im running the stock obd2 ls ecu.the car is a 01 and i read somewhere about having to jump from obd2b to obd2a and running a 96-99(obd2a) computer..

does anyone know anything about the evap motoring system...thats what keeps failing

 

Do you have a CEL? Chattanooga is extremely loose on their testing. My swapped civic with a test pipe, running OBD I passed. Maybe you just need to talk/bs with the guys a little bit. I doubt I was suppose to pass but I explained everything to the guy and he seemed cool and I passed.

 

i got no codes at all....i been driving the car for weeks and no sign of cel light coming on...yeah i pass with my boosted accord on 12psi....i hate obd2

 

is your evap canister hooked up? its a blackb ottle on the firewall that has a hose connecting from it to a nipple on the throttle body.
