Great idea for placement of APEX-i V-AFC in a Prelude, wondering if you guys have done this and if this Compartment comes from an Accord.

 

with some hacking of the plastic anything is possible. 'cept the accords (5th gens anyway) dont have a nifty flip-lip thingy to hid the VAFC when not in use.

 

That looks pretty sweet.

 

You can just use a 98 and up accord pocket.

 

Does the 98 and up have the door on it.

 

My friend has a '01 V6, and his has no door. I dunno if they're all like that or not though.

 

My 2000 had a door on it before I replaced that setup with a new CD player.

Wish I could do that with my 4th gen. Has no door.
I have the V-AFC in the glove.

Us 4th genners always get the shaft..

 

Pretty much all hondas with a radio/pocket in a double-din opening will have the same size pocket, although the earlier (4th and 5th gen accord) pockets attach to the radio and the newer ones attach to a bracket which also holds the radio. With a little bit of customizing, you should be able to get it to work.

 

i think all the 6th gens that came with the single din unit had a door
