98 2.3L cuts out @ 3k RPM

98 2.3L cuts out @ 3k RPM
TD Sensor possibly bad? @ 3k RPM engine sputters consistently.
Tried Iginition Control Module/Distributor Cap/swapped plug wires/checked/cleaned plugs, to no avail.
Code 1361.
Wondering if my coil could break down in such a way as to give this code?
Hoping to not have to replace TD Sensor, quite costly.
This is the old 2.3L 4 Cylinder motor.
