Fantastic420's Need Help build. Need it running asap!
I recently bought a 92 teg GS for a good deal towed to my house. Dude bent 2 valves so they head is off the car, everything else is intact.
What the car needs:
Radiator
Axles
Timing belt, water pump, and tensioner done.
Battery
LS head (decided to get a new head, found a 95 ls with 13x,000 for 60$ with new gasket)
Fresh fluids
Questions for what i need to do.
Head:
Do i just bolt the head on and get the timing done?
Axles:
Found some for a 92 integra. wondering if theyll fit on my gs. dude isnt sure if theyre anti or not.
Timing:
I would need a new belt, what else should i get done to get it outta the way?
The questions arent really that hard, its just that i never pieced a motor together, just always had swaps ready. Also, I totalled my daily civic 2 days ago and got a decent injury. Need to fix this integra so i can get to work. If someone can do a decent walkthru of my questions, that would be very much appreciated. thanks

First: You posted at 11:15 and again an 1.5 hours later. It is during the week where people are at work/school/whatever some people do during the day. This is a forum and is run by humans. Dont expect to post and get an instant response, and dont get upset if you dont get an instant response.
Second:
1. Bolt head on and do timing. You can take it to machine shop to check to make sure it isnt warped, but up to you.
2. As far as axles are concerned, you need to get ones that match your car in terms of ABS or not.
3. Get all new belts unless they look new. Change water pump also like you mentioned. New plugs, wires and all the basic tune up materials.

im picking up a head and a gasket in a few days. ima get timing belt, water pump also. how much would an estimate cost for someone to do this for u? cuz i never put a head on a block, i swapped motors in but never pieced it together..
axles, so i cant have use non abs if i do have them? i mean ill change axles after my first pay check. would it be safe or just save up and get the ones i need rite away?

a post like that deserves a punch in the throat. (speaking to OP) on top of that money is your own problem. with that said do it right the first time. good HG and good intake mani gasket. consider water and oil pump and use new timing belt. install it according to your haynes or helms manual and you should be straight. if you dont have one then GO OUT AND GET ONE. quit ****in around and with a 5 dollar book you can answer many questions yourself.

take the head to a shop and have them test it fo sho, or youll be wasting your time and money
