Pro's and Cons about buying a USED ITR rear sway bar...
Off of a 2000 ITR with 20000 miles on it? Should there be any concern?
Also, can anyone vouch for the user riksride (22 posts, white plains ny)?

There shouldn't be any concern about purchasing a used Type-R rear swaybar. The only thing that might show some wear is the endlink bushings.
I can't respond as to how it would effect your warranty, but the mod is definitely worth it.
If you can't verify otherwise, just wait until your warranty expires... the BSQ/Beaks mod requires some drilling into your rear crossmember.

"Sorry, do not have pix. Bar is in excellent shape w/bushings but no
brackets. It came off a 2000 ITR. I really didn't want to ship but if your
really serious, let me know."
The seller sent me this email. Without these "brackets" will I still have all that I need?

I don't forsee any problems in buying a used ITR sway bar other than it's eaten a GSR subframe in the past and it's hungry for more

eh?

eh?
a new one with all parts is only $103 USD, this is priced with everything right off bsq's inventory list, and u should do better because you guys are in the states.
I just ordered mine in canada new, sealed, at dealer for that price.
I think it might be the better option, seeing as u might have to replace the endlinks anyways.

I don't see any cons from purchasing a used sway bar.. theres not much that can go wrong.. unless you want an absolutely new bar.. the only con is that it might have some scratches/wear..
