there was a guy on here that had the beeks kit and still ripped out the subframe... and I know a guy that had the 19mm skunk2 sway bar with stock type d brackets and that ripped out the subframe too.. any suguestions on mounting and ride height?

Re: itr rear sway bar (yakitori)
i don;t understand how all these people are ripping out the subframes. i installed a 26mm mugen bar (for the itr) in the back of my civic 5 years ago. i cut some steel plate, drilled a few holes... and i have had no problems at all. it has to be the way they are mounting them.
edit: i found a pic from a while ago, probably 2000, as my calipers still look good

Re: itr rear sway bar (rodney)
How thick of steel did you use? Only one plate per side?
It is essentially the same effectiveness as Beaks, takes stress away from 2 points and spreads it.
Shouldn't having high rear springs rates help as well with keeping it from tearing?

You prolly wont even need a 26mm rear sway either.</TD></TR></TABLE>
600 lb rear springs here w/ 26mm bar

Re: itr rear sway bar (rodney)
question, which is slightly but not really OT
if most parts from an ITR swap over to an EG, does the rear sub-frame work?
i think that would be a good upgrade for EG owners if you can put the ITR subframe there.
