I hate to ask on here, but we may need some help locating and getting a part, i'm on unemployment right now, been for 24 weeks, I need to find either a cluster from a 98 civic, or the temp gauge from the cluster assembly, I'm not sure if there are any electronics on the circuit board for the cluster that affect the gauge, the blank board with the temp gauge would be fine, I don't need the speedo or anything like that, I'm going back to school next quarter because i'm sick of this unemployment crap, the temp gauge now is malfunctioning, and as soon as you start the car it pegs out in hot, it's not the sender, i've been messing with it for a while, it's the gauge or electronics in the board. I know the older ones have a voltage regulator for the cluster built into the temp gauge itself, I can't be driving 45 minutes each way to Tifton and not being able to tell if the car is overheating. We simply do not have the money right now to be able to replace the gauge, and I can't find them in junkyards, with all the people on here who mess with these car, I figure someone has one in their spare parts. It's definitely in the gauge or circuit board assembly, narrowed it down to that. if I had the means to buy the parts right now I simply would, but I'm not able too.
