my B16 CRX in the past couple of days has started to knock pretty bad it sounds like a lawnmower,but i havent experienced any performance loss???ive heard of other peoples swaps doing this and all i hear is "dont worry about it",well **** that!is there anything that i can check?......... what the hell caused my valves to do this???? i havent been running hard at all!!!!!

 

Who said it was your valves? Could be a rod/main bearing. hope not... .. .. .. If you cant tell the difference between a knocking bottom end and tapping valves, then take your car to a reputable auto mechanic and see what they say. If its your rods or mains, you may have already screwed the crank up. Driving a car with a chiped up rod bearing will kill your crank in no time.

If you do know that its your valves then just go get them adjusted!
