Default EM1 --> D16Y8

I'm dropping a fully built Y8 into an EM1 chassis.

My question is, what will need to be modified, as far as the harness, for it to work?

The harness that's on my Y8 has a messed up secondary O2 circuit. Worst case scenario, I can put it in with the correct harness.

you shouldn't have to modify anything as long as you have a y8 harness.

if you put it in your EM1 i'm assuming SI you should be able to use the stock si harness.. i think the smog sensor has to be moved around but that's all i can think of

Good luck with the swap

People were telling me to get an EM1 harness when I did my Y8 swap if that helps.

Yeah, EM1 = '99-'00 Si...

The only thing that has thrown me off is that the reverse sensor on the tranny is all soldered in from when the person who had the car prior swapped it... not sure what's the deal with it.

I would just go to the junkyard, cut off another sensor and solder it to yours. Cut harness' are as gay as AIDS.
