93 civic si shut off
this is happening to my friends car
he posted this on one of our local fourms but we havent gotten any good answer and him and i cant seem to figure out the problem

i was at my girls crib( low gas) car shut off...turned it back on , reversed and forward , then shut off again...thought it was gas, added gas.. car never started again.
when ignition is on
cell light on but doesnt cycle.( tried checking for codes buy nothin happens.
fuel doesnt prime....
changed computers nothing'
changed main relay nothing '
checked most fuses nothing'
need help anyone got ideas lmk

im getting spark to my wires now.. it was a fuse under my dash .....now cell light cycles turns off.. but car is not getting fuel.>....is there a fuse to my fuel pump>>>?????
(the fuse is the one top right second before last......
btw when i spray gas to throttle it starts no problem....]

i was talking to a neighbor and left my car on and I knew I was going to run out of gas.. so it sat there and ran for 10 mins then it shuts off I ran out of gas... I put gas back in it and crank it nothing.. then I figured I blew the distributor coil.. so that might be your problem.. if not try your starter fuse and check all associating wires to spark.

the thing is im not getting power to fuel pump

Did you check fuses 31 and 24 with a test light as described here?
31 and 24 are ok(before 24 was bad so i changed it thats why im getting spark now)
number 18 fuses looks good but not recieving power?????????

Fuse 18 only gets power with the key in ON(III).
Fuse 24 only gets power with the key in ON(II).
Fuse 31 always has power.
Are you testing for voltage at BOTH metal test tabs?
If the main relay is fine, then try swapping in a known good ECU.

i checked it with a test light....it didmt light up i checked the fuse , loooks good....checked both tabs , nothing????
